Explore Pelion, Greece on foot by embarking on a river trekking and rappel tour with True Adventure. Get back to nature, challenge yourself and enter landscapes well beyond our urban environment. Picture yourself enjoying a spontaneous moment as you are in the air, snack by a stream and follow winding paths that weave through the forest.

In a nutshell, river trekking is all about embracing unique moments while enjoying incredible landscapes. Join us as we explore the beautiful scenery of the River Trekking.  Located just outside the famous village of Milies, de Chirico bridge (steel structure, 42 m high), is the place where we will start our small “flight” from.

The name of the bridge was given to honor the Italian engineer Evaristo de Chirico, the designer of the railway track in Pelion. The main feature of the bridge is that the rails don’t follow the straight direction of the bridge, but a curved line. We fix our ropes/lines and it’s time to rappel down the bridge, until the bottom of the small stream named Taxiarchis. After a small break in order to admire nature, we are ready to start our river trekking and explore this magnificent place.
